Mrs Hoakes then continued: 'It all started Friday evening after I'd returned from work. I told you we don't have a TV set or a computer in our house, no electronics-in fact, apart from a tiny radio I have since I was a kid. And there is only one program I like listening to, which is about floral arrangements you can display in and around the house. Anyway, when the program ended, I wanted to turn it off which is what I normally do, but my younger boy started crying so I went straight to him and left the radio on.
