It's war now

Turner stepped into Hunter's new office, she had brought the finest warriors Red Moon had as protection. "Hey Hunter, thanks for meeting with me today. I wanted to talk to you about " Turner took a deep breath and sighed "about the girl." "Sure thing Turner." Hunter tried to seem diplomatic but came off as uncaring instead. Hunter was reluctant but he met her to discuss the very sensitive matter. He was, after all, an alpha in waiting and he should do these types of diplomatic talks. Turner, "Well, as you know, I've been chosen as the new alpha for Red Moon. And I wanted to discuss some concerns I have about a few of our pack members." Hunter, "Cut to the chase, Turner. Well, we all know the matter." Hunter was losing his patience fast, he had been more and more convinced that Bass and Xander was at fault for the girls death. Turner, "The rumors that my cousin Bass and his friend Xander have been accused of killing a girl from your pack... Well.." Turner took a deep breath. "I just wanted to clear the air and make sure that our packs could continue to work together without any issues." Hunter: (sighs) "Yes, that's true. We've been investigating the matter and all the evidence points to Bass and Xander." Turner scoffed, "I find that hard to believe. I know my cousin and he would never do something like that. Is there any way we can get more information and find out the truth?" Hunter, "Turner, I appreciate your loyalty to your cousin, but we have to take these accusations seriously. The victim's family deserves justice." Turner, "I understand that, but I also believe that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. I think we should give Bass and Xander the benefit of the doubt and investigate further before jumping to conclusions." Turner was getting frustrated at this point. She wished she had any clues as to who killed the girl, so she could clear Bass' name. Hunter was very skeptical, he knew how much trouble Xander really could be. "I don't know if that's wise, Turner. The evidence is pretty strong against them. I don't want to risk any more lives in our pack." Turner was as firm as ever, "I hear your concerns, Hunter, but I also have a responsibility to defend my pack members. And until we have solid evidence against Bass and Xander, I cannot let them be condemned without a fair trial." Hunter was withdrawing at this point. "I understand your position, Turner. But I also have to look out for the safety of my pack. Let's agree to keep investigating this matter and hopefully come to a resolution soon." Turner nodded "Thank you for hearing me out, Hunter. Let's continue to work together for the betterment of both our packs." Turner walked into her dad's office with a somber look, "Dad, we have a problem." Cash sighed as he looked up from his desk, "I know Turner." Turner, "Hunter doesn't believe that Bass and Xander are innocent in the young girl's death." Jonas was sitting in Cash's office already in the little love sofa. "And why should he? They were found with the body, and there's evidence against them." Cash, "But there has to be evidence that points to someone else, Jonas. We can't just jump to conclusions and accuse Bass and Xander without looking at all the facts." Turner, "I agree with dad, daddy. Bass is too kind-hearted to ever do something like that." Turner often referred to her dads as dad and daddy. Jonas was always being her daddy. Jonas, "I understand that, Turner, but we can't just let someone get away with murder. We need to find the truth, no matter where it leads." Cash was rubbing his face with his palms. "I couldn't agree more, but we also have to consider the safety of our pack. If Bass and Xander are innocent, then we need to protect them from any false accusations." Turner, "So what do we do?" Turner was pacing around the room at this point. Cash, "We investigate. We talk to everyone who was at the party where she was last seen, we examine the evidence, and we don't stop until we find out who is responsible." Jonas, "I'll start asking people tomorrow." Turner "And I'll help in any way I can." The next day, Turned seeks out her twin brother. She needs some serious guidance and Zane has always been the one to guide her. "Zane, I can't believe this is happening. Our cousin Bass has been framed for murder and everyone thinks he did it." Zane frowned, "I know, it's a terrible situation. But we have to stay calm and think things through before we make any decisions." Turner scoffed "That's easier said than done. Our friend Hunter is convinced that Bass is guilty and he's been spreading rumors around the pack. What do we do?" Zane looked determined at this point, "We need to gather all the information we can and present it to the pack. We have to prove that Bass is innocent." Turner put on a brave smile. "But how do we do that? The evidence seems to be stacked against him." Zane, "We can start by talking to Bass and getting his side of the story. We can also talk to the witnesses and see if there are any inconsistencies in their statements." Turner's voice cracked as she spoke" I just don't know if I'm ready to handle all of this. I'm going to be alpha soon and I feel like I'm not ready for all this responsibility." Zane patted his sister's back. "You'll do fine, sis. You're strong and capable, and I'll always be here to support you. We'll get through this together." Turner, "Thanks, Zane. I don't know what I'd do without you." Zane gave her a gentle smile. "That's what family is for. We stick together no matter what. And as your beta, I'm here to make sure you don't have to face these tough decisions alone." Turner hugged her brother and beta, " I appreciate that more than you know. Let's get started on figuring out how to clear Bass's name." Zane, "Agreed. We'll do everything we can to make sure justice is served." In walks their father and alpha. He overheard their conversation. "That's my girl. We'll get to the bottom of this, no matter what." Olive was airing out her worries to her brother and soon-to-be alpha. "Hunter, I don't know what to do. Everyone thinks Bass killed that girl." Hunter sighed," I know Olive... " He was trying to avoid telling his sister that he believed Bass did it. Olive was screaming at this point. "What are you doing about it, Hunter?" "Olive, calm down. Just because some people think Bass did it doesn't mean he's guilty." Hunter tried his best to be diplomatic with his sister, but his emotions showed that he believed Bass did indeed do it. "But I know he's not! I've known him for years, and he's never done anything bad." Hunter sighed, "I believe you, Olive. But we have to let the pack warriors look into this. They'll find out who really did it." Olive was on the verge of crying, " But what if they don't? What if Bass gets blamed for something he didn't do?" Hunter stepped towards his sister and hugged her, "We won't let that happen. We'll make sure he has a fair trial and that all the evidence is considered." Olive sobbed into his shoulder, "But what can I do? I feel so helpless." "Just be there for him. Support him and show everyone that you believe in his innocence. That's the best thing you can do right now." Olive wiped her nose on her sleeve. "You're right. I have to be strong for him. But it's just so scary to think that someone we know could be capable of something like this." "I know. But we have to trust in the justice system and have faith that the truth will come out in the end." Olive gave Hunter a faint smile. "Thank you, Hunter. You always know how to calm me down." "That's what big brothers are for. Just remember, we're all in this together." Hunter took a deep breath before he spoke his last words, "but Olive, please, talk to Bass sooner rather than later. We will soon go into a phase where our packs are no longer communicating." Olive went pale as she realized she only had a few moments to reach out. Fiery Falls were about to strike against Red Moon.
