The incident

Bass and Xander roamed through the woods, enjoying their freedom as wolves. The wind rustled through the leaves, and the animals of the forest chirped and howled. The two wolves, friends for life, were trotting along when they stumbled upon something gruesome. In a clearing, they saw a mangled body of a young girl. Her clothes were torn, and her body was covered in bruises. Blood had seeped out of her wounds, and it was obvious that she had been r*ped and m*rdered. Bass and Xander were frozen in fear at what they were seeing. They knew they had to do something about it, but they didn't know what. As they stood there, Quiver trotted by in her wolf form. She saw the two wolves near a dead body and rushed to them. Quiver was from a different pack, but she recognized Bass and Xander. "What are you two doing here?" Quiver asked, sniffing the air around the dead girl's body. Bass and Xander looked at Quiver, both feeling a sense of relief that they weren't alone anymore. "We stumbled upon this body. It looks like she's been r*ped and m*rdered," Xander said, his voice shaky. Quiver let out a howl, summoning her pack. They came running, and Quiver explained the situation to them. The pack knew they had to act fast, as the killer could still be out there. They split up, looking for clues and evidence. Bass, Xander, and Quiver stayed behind to protect the body. They huddled around it, their fur bristling with anger and sadness. They couldn't believe someone could be capable of such an atrocity. As the night grew darker, the Fiery Falls pack returned with some evidence. They found a torn piece of clothing and footprints that could belong to the killer. With this information, they set out to find the perpetrator, hoping to bring justice to the victim and her family. Bass and Xander knew they had to return to Red Moon and tell their story. Bass, Xander, and Quiver howled together, a mournful sound that echoed through the forest. They knew they had to fight for what was right, and they would stop at nothing to bring the killer to justice. Bass and Xander left Quiver and the warriors from her pack with a heavy mind. Bass's father, Knox, was waiting for them at the edge of the forest, his arms folded across his chest. The alpha, Cash, stood behind him, his gaze fixed on the two boys. "What the h*ll is going on?" Knox demanded as soon as they reached him. "Why do you two look like you've seen a ghost?" Xander gasped for air, his eyes wild with fear. "We found a dead body in the woods," he said in a shaky voice. "We don't know who it is or how they got there." Knox's expression darkened, and he turned to Cash. "We need to investigate this immediately," he said. "I want every member of our pack to comb the woods and search for any clues or evidence." Cash nodded, his jaw set. "We'll start right away," he said. "But we need to be careful. There's no telling what kind of danger we might be facing." Bass's heart raced as he watched the two men talk. He couldn't believe that they had stumbled upon a dead body. It was like something out of a horror movie. "Is there anything we can do to help?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Knox looked at him sternly. "No, you two need to stay here," he said. "It's too dangerous for you to go back into the woods." Bass felt a lump form in his throat as he watched the two men disappear into the trees. He couldn't believe what had just happened, and he didn't know how they were going to make it through the next few hours. But he knew one thing for sure - they were never going to forget the day they found a dead body in the woods. Quiver ran through the forest as fast as she could, her heart pounding in her chest. She had just made a gruesome discovery, and she knew she had to tell her pack and her father, Beta Jaxen, right away. As she approached the clearing where the pack gathered, she could see her father and their Alpha, Greyson, standing together in the center. "Father!" she called out as she approached. "Alpha Greyson!" Jaxen turned to face her, concern etched on his face. "What is it, Quiver? What's wrong?" Quiver took a deep breath, trying to steady her voice. "I found a dead body, Father," she said, her eyes filling with tears. "One of our pack members. She was r*ped and killed, and her body was mangled. And I found Xander and Bass from Red Moon with her." Jaxen's eyes widened in shock, and Greyson stepped forward. "Are you sure it was them?" he asked. "I'm positive," Quiver said, nodding firmly. "I found tracks and other evidence that pointed to them. And they were right there with the body, just staring at her." Jaxen turned to the warriors who had accompanied Quiver on her search. "Did you see anything that would support Quiver's suspicion?" he asked. The warriors nodded in agreement. "We saw Xander and Bass in the area where the body was found," one of them said. "And they were acting suspiciously." Jaxen's face hardened with determination. "We will not tolerate this kind of behavior," he said. "We will take action against Red Moon for the crimes they have committed. Quiver, you have done well to bring this to our attention. We will make sure that justice is served." Quiver felt a sense of relief wash over her at her father's words. She had done the right thing in reporting her discovery, and now the pack would take action to ensure that no one else would suffer the same fate. She knew that justice would be served, and she was proud to be a part of such a strong and just pack. Quiver was young and inexperienced, she thought someone standing next to a body was a smoking gun, never thinking that the two young men could be innocent. Xander sat on the couch in his living room, tears streaming down his face. His parents, Sarah and Mark, sat on either side of him, holding his hands and speaking softly to him. "It's okay, Xander," Sarah said, her voice gentle. "You're safe now. We're here with you." Mark rubbed circles on Xander's back, trying to soothe him. "Do you want to talk about what happened, son?" he asked. Xander shook his head, unable to form words. All he could see in his mind was the sight of the dead body he had witnessed just hours before. Sarah squeezed his hand. "That's okay, honey. You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." Xander took a deep, shuddering breath and wiped his eyes. "I... I can't stop thinking about it," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I keep seeing it over and over in my head." Mark pulled Xander into a tight embrace. "It's normal to be upset, Xander," he said. "You witnessed something traumatic. But you're safe now, and we're here to help you through it." Sarah nodded in agreement. "We'll get you the help you need, Xander. We'll find a therapist who can help you work through this." Xander sniffled and leaned toward his parents. "I don't want to be scared anymore," he whispered. "You don't have to be," Mark said, his voice firm. "We'll take care of you, Xander. We love you." Sarah kissed the top of Xander's head. "We'll get through this together, honey." Xander closed his eyes and let himself be held by his parents, feeling safe and loved in their embrace. It would be a long road to recovery, but he knew he wasn't alone.
