Bass had spent the night recovering after his mission with the rogue, grateful to have escaped and be safe. But his heart was heavy with the thought of his mate Olive. He missed her dearly and knew he had to see her. He decided to travel to Fiery Falls, where she resided, to surprise her and perhaps even bring her back to his pack.
As he arrived at the pack house of Fiery Falls, he felt a mix of nerves and excitement. He knew that Olive was safe, but he couldn't shake the fear of the unknown.
