Bass and Xander met up at the edge of the forest, away from prying eyes and ears. They had been close friends for years, but lately, their relationship had been strained due to the investigation into the young girl's death.
As they sat down on a nearby log, Bass cleared his throat. "Xander, I wanted to talk to you about something. Olive thinks that you might be involved in the girl's death."
