Elena --- Elena has barely stepped onto the training field when she spots Ryker and Eldin walking toward her. “My two favorite men!” she calls out. A voice behind her huffs. “That’s not a nice thing to say when there are three of us.” Elena rolls her eyes without turning. “Relax, Kai.” Ryker’s lips twitch, but he doesn’t comment. “What are you two doing out here?” she asks. “Eldin wants to know more about what happened during the rogue attack,” Ryker says. “Oh.” Elena nods, then explains everything—how she panicked when she saw Ryker surrounded, how all she could think about was protecting him, and how a burst of blue energy exploded outward, throwing the rogues back.
