Tears filled Beth's eyes immediately and her cheek turned painfully red. She glared at Katie resentfully and despite how much she wanted to slap Katie back, she couldn't as Nate was watching her closely.
"Thank you for your generous offer." Katie said ironically, "But if one of us will be sleeping with rich old men to survive, it won't be me." She looked at Beth into her eyes with a sneer and went on, "Next time you see me, you'd better hide, or it won't be just a slap of two on your face."
