Eleanor’s POV
I crouched down and saw a soft smile and deep, green eyes. He was covered in filth, but it was Alexander. I watched as he struggled to sit up and move closer to the bars. Silver cuffs on his wrists had created screaming red rashes, while also blistering the skin. I could tell he was in pain.
“Why are you down here? What the hell happened to you?” I asked incredulously.
Alexander coughed. “Better ask your boyfriend over there. It all happened before the Alpha Summit even finished.”
I scrunched my face up in confusion. “What happened during the Alpha Summit?”
