Eleanor’s POV Whether it was the bed, or the man in my bed, or simply the pure exhaustion from the past several weeks, I didn’t wake up for hours and hours. And I wasn’t mad about it. I hadn’t slept in a proper bed for far too long, and I decided then and there to never leave it again. It was dark when I officially woke up and finally got out of bed. Alexander was still slumbering, and it took a few minutes to extricate myself from him without waking him up too. He apparently liked to snuggle when he slept.
