Eleanor’s POV
I shivered in anticipation. This was unlike anything I had ever experienced before, which was saying a lot at this point. I had thought that nothing could surprise me after everything I’d been through. However, life had a funny way of showing just how much destiny was in charge.
“Who’s there? How do you know who I am?” I called out in a shaky voice.
“Your touch has woken me up. I have been asleep for a very long time. Enter my domain, and I will tell you all,” the voice replied.
“What have you done with my friends?” I asked, still unsure.
