The moment I saw the patrol car I immediately know who was following us , my dad .

After getting out of Matador's Rangerover sport I walked to the police car .

He lowered his window when he saw me .

"Wonderful way to drop by town ."I said .

"It's so great to see you , wanted to check up on my little princess "he said .

" It's also great to see you , you should have called ."I said .

"Aren't you going to give me a wonderful to see you hug ?"he said .

I moved back , he got out of the car and I hugged him . He's been and will always be the best man in my life , every moment I think of all he has gone through because of me I can't help but be very grateful .

After he adopted me he was so happy to bring me home , I was so afraid but he welcomed me with a smile on his face , he was my only friend I had when no one was . Whenever we went to places like the mall, grocery store, a toy shop we got looks but he was never ashamed of me he would hold my hand and say "daddy's little princess "and I would smile and say "always and forever " . I faced a lot of racism but he always held my hand and assured me he has my back , am his daughter and he wont let anyone harm his child . 

He made sure I had a great upbringing ,of discpline , love and education during holidays we would go to visit my grandparents (his parents) in Arizona they were so loving and welcoming it was always a constant battle whenever we had to leave because they were so fond of me and didn't want me to go . Thanks to him I realized love runs deeper than skin colour .

"I am really glad to see you ."I said .

"I wouldn't miss this opportunity to see my princess , "he said we broke off from the hug .

"I didn't tell you this but I got a new job , it's a chef kind of job and the pay is great "I said .

"What about the restaurant ? Why did you leave?"he asked .

" the pay isn't as much as my new chef job "I said .

" so where do you work now?"he asked .

"Come let me introduce you to some people "I said .

"The kidnappers? Did they have any weapons? Where were they taking you ? Blink twice to confirm you need help ."he said .

I laughed , no matter how old I am , my dad still carries me like a child .

"They are not kidnappers , come ,you will be fond of them .

"I said as I led him to Matador's parked car . He shook their hands , they were shocked to learn I had a dad and he was a Caucasian wonderful gentleman I wasn't surprised by their reaction I would also be surprised if a man that was a cop came looking like a retired fitness model as my employee's dad.

He looked at both of them with tough looks I hope he likes them , if doesn't then I cant work for them anymore

After making dinner I walked upstairs to inform my bosses I was leaving and that dinner is ready . I was in for a surprise . Their door was slightly open and I was just not expecting a porno scene . "Let him take you home , your safety matters to us too ."Daniel said .

I left the room and headed downstairs to wait .

"Are you coming "he asked .

We arrived at my apartment .He stopped the car on my gate .

"How will I get my car back , your estate isn't fond of cheap taxis ."I said .

"I apologize for that too ."I said in the kindest possible way . I seriously can't believe he drove me home to lecture me geez how rude .

I just need like two or three months and am out that six grand is worth it .

I unbuckled my seatbelt .

"Thank you for the ride "I said and got out closing the door behind me . He was all nice and kind then all of a sudden he's all bossy on me ,fine if he wants to keep it proffessional then he will have a proffessional chef .

I really need a man being single sucks a lot , it really does .I can't wait to rub it on peoples faces am no longer single including the one that just dropped me home to lecture me .
