“Are you sure you don’t wanna give the keynote address tonight and actually introduce yourself to your employees??,” Jack’s voice on the speaker echoed through the walls of my penthouse. “Again, with this, why do you care? You get to stand up there and act like God while women practically bend over while you exit the stage. You should be thanking me.” “I thank you every time I write my ex’s monthly alimony check, brother,” Jack grumbles. “I didn’t tell you to marry her,” I sigh as I stare out the window. “It’s been five years, man. This call is getting old. You know I’m not making that speech cause I will not be there.” “Dude! You’re the CEO! It’s time to come back to the office. No one even remembers the incident. That cunt lied!” Jack is whining. How he manages to get laid so much, I’ll never know.
He’s right. I do need to go back to the office, but I would never tell him that. “Goodbye, little brother!” “Really?? You’re coming??” I hang up in his face.
Later that evening…
I arrive just in time to see them introduce K. Carter Cadwell. Hmmm…She’s definitely new. What the hell is up with the K? Why not go strictly by Carter? She’s definitely sexy. That dress hits her in all the right places. The material against her skin…she looks like a goddess. The neckline cuts low but could be lower. Her t**s were meant to be on display. She’s approaching the stage, but someone stops her, and I see the back of that gown. My pants are definitely a little tighter now as all the blood in my body rushes to my p***s. That a$$ is beautiful. Her mood is sour when she turns around, and I can feel my veins turn to ice as I, for some unknown reason, want to find this clown and punch him.
Ms. Cadwell begins her presentation. She’s even more intelligent than she is gorgeous. Even my i***t brother looks impressed. She is in her element. Then the screen flickers, and oh hell, I see it before she does. Her body on full display—definitely not what I meant when that thought ran through my mind earlier. I run to the back of the stage and order the staff to stop the presentation. “Anyone who had anything to do with setup and preparation of this evening will be in the executive boardroom at 6 am tomorrow! Someone’s getting fired and possibly going to jail if Ms. Cadwell chooses to file charges.”
As I’m rounding the corner for the front of the stage, I run into my brother. “You’re here??,” he says, looking like a surprised puppy. “Yes!” I bark. “What the f@ck is this??! How did this happen??!” “I-I don’t know. I have Lawrence launching an investigation,” he stammers. “Well, tell Lawrence that all the suspects will be in our boardroom at 6 am! Have my car pulled around to the back. I will be leaving soon.”
