The heirs

(Flashback) Three years ago Dang it! I could not believe I was running late for Algebra. I was having the worst morning. Silas usually drove me to school, but he had to come to school early today. West had morning practice, and Kil was nowhere to be found today. I had already missed the first period history. Ms. Woodson didn’t like excuses, and I really couldn’t afford to get on her bad side. Especially because I was on the honor roll and was the student council vice president. I made it a mission not to sully my parents' name, having donated money to the school on multiple occasions before they passed away, it had been a year now. Honoring their legacy was important to me. Matt intended to continue the family legacy by becoming a lawyer like mom and dad. We were six years apart.... he couldn't be there for me the way he wanted, and I needed him to be after the funeral. I understood. Matt was in school studying for the bar exam in two weeks. We grew apart the past couple of months. We eventually grew apart the past few months.. and then he eventually stopped visiting. I knew that seeing me brought back too many memories for him. It was just too much for him. West, Kil, Sila, and Aubrey made life easier to survive. The student council was a fun gig. It gave me the opportunity to hang out with the group. Kil wasn’t on the student council, but he was smart as hell. He would help us in the council room when he wasn’t getting lucky or in the middle of a swarm of girls, with one girl on each of his arms. I couldn’t blame them. Kil Anderson was gorgeous with his black shoulder-length curly hair and grayish brown eyes that you could look into forever. You felt like they would consume you. With chisel features that could cut a block of ice. Standing at 6 '2 and built like a greek god, his thick muscles were tattooed. Right on his upper arms, giving him a bad boy vibe. He wasn’t known for his kind words. Actually, he was a a*s to most girls, which made me laugh for some odd reason. It made me happy. That didn't stop the girls from craving more because most of the girls knew that he was known for ruining many girls from ever wanting anything… 'Vanilla' again after their... escapades. His f**k buddies knew that it was just s*x, but they didn’t seem to care. There was always one of two delusional ones trying to claim territory over him. Like he was a piece of sirloin steak. One of those girls being Brittany Weston, believed she owned the “The three heirs” they called Silas, Kil, and West. That weirdly pi**ed me off, I hated her. Silas was his twin and the student council president. He was equally as yummy and as tall as his brother, 6’2 with deep gray eyes that always reminded me of a summer storm and pullable black curly hair reaching his perfectly arched nose. With tattoos similar to Kil and West. He was a charmer in all senses of the word. Women wanted him, and men wanted to be him and with him. Yet I had never seen him date anyone before. The girls at the school pined after him. Hoping that they would get their sexy president to notice them. Sadly for them, Silas cared only three things, school, the family business, and his friends. The twins were heirs to multi-million dollar cooperation with branches all over the state. The Anderson Marketing cooperation. To the public, they looked and acted the part. They were posed, with an aristocratic air to them, indifferent to the world. Not to us in the group. There was no need to put on airs having been around each other since we were little. West let it slip before, saying Silas couldn’t find anyone out there who could handle it. I didn’t know what that meant. West just stared at me with fascination and began to laugh. Patting my head like a dog. What the hell! I asked Kil afterward what he meant. Kil just looked at me with a clench jaw and gave me an unreadable expression. Arms folded, leaning on the wall. He bent over to match my 5’5 "height, whispering so low. That I almost missed it if I wasn’t staring at his biteable lips. “Do you want me to show you?” I couldn’t comprehend what just happened or what he meant. But my face instantly turned red. Kil chuckled because of my reactions, making me pout. “Maybe some other time” he said, patting my head and walking away. That was always how the boys were teasing me!
