When we got to the gym, a guy came up and said "Alpha, are you here to train?"

Justin replied "hey, Jim. Yes, and also I am here with Mariah Bailey." They locked eyes and they looked weird, so I decided to go to the ring and warm up. About three minutes later, Justin asked "all warmed up?"

I replied " Sure, Question?"

Justin replied "shoot."

I asked " why did Jim call you Alpha?"

Justin replied "oh, when I was a kid I always ran around saying I was a werewolf and I was the leader. Do you believe in werewolves or other creatures?"

I said "no, but I have an open mind. So yeah. " Justin smiled at that. Then Jim said "okay, nice clean fight. No broken bones." Justin and I both nodded our heads. Justin smiled. I shook my head. I waited for him to make the first move. Obviously he was doing the same thing. Jim yelled "someone do something." Justin started to move. I decided I should play a little first before I kick his ass. He threw the first punch. I dodged it. I thought this was fun. I gave him a set. I kept landing hits. He hit me in my stomach and then kicked me in the stomach. It made me winded. That is when I thougth f****d it, time for this to stop. Justin came at me again. That is when I gave him a roundhouse kick to the ribs as hard as I could. That is when he went down. Everyone that was in the gym was watching us. Now they are looking at me in shock. Jim jumped into the ring. He ran to Justin. Jim asked "Justin, are you okay?"

Justin replied "yeah, but holy s**t. I think my rib is broken. Never again will I fight you, Mariah. It was fun but holy shit."

Jim said "Mariah, congratulations!" Justin smiled. He sat up and everyone was still staring at us. I then said "since you fought good, there is always next time." I started to laugh. And then said "okay since you are hurt, I will let you win the deal. Does that sound fair?"

Justin replied "okay, so go out on a date with me tonight."

I smiled while blushing, then said "sure, pick me up at 8." Justin smiled and nodded. He got up and said "I really do think you actually broke a rib."

I smiled and said "I fight to win. If I lose I could die." Right then I shut my mouth. I realized I said something I shouldn't have. Justin gave me a weird look and tried to open his mouth, so I asked "so this date tonight where are we going?"

Justin said "out to this restaurant, that is known for their food here.". With that we grabbed our stuff and started walking to the door. I was grateful that he didn't finish his question. We walked out of the gym, when we bumped into one of Justin's friends.

Justin's friend said "hey Justin. What are you doing here with, I am sorry, what is your name?" With that he looked at me.

Justin replied "we were training Andrew, well more like she kicked my ass."

Andrew said "well okay then. You said you were training with your father. But are you really in on the weekend to Moon Corp?"

Justin replied "yes, I have no choice."

I said "hey, my mother works there. I didn't know you owned it. Neat."

Justin looked at me shocked and asked me "oh well what a surprise. But does that change anything?"

I said "hell no. I don't care. Good for you. But you cross a line. I won't care if you cross I will put your handsome ass in the ground." That is when I heard a growl. I looked right up at Andrew. Andrew looked like he could kill me. But little does he know, he won't win.

Justin smiled and replied to me "good." We looked each other into each other's eyes. I swear I saw them change from green to grey.

Andrew butted in, he said "well anyway, my sister wants to talk to you later."

Justin replied "okay, she can talk to me, Shawn as Shawn's girlfriend. I am not alone with your sister who is a psycho." I was trying to hold my laughter in but I was losing. But I couldn't hold it in anymore and I started to laugh just a little. And I finally was able to say "wait, wait…. So that slut from school, the one who acts like she is hotter than everyone, the one who is a b***h. The one who everyone I hear everyone say around school is the biggest slut. And that she must be very loose is your sister. Did you know she wears too much perfume? And everyone can smell her coming from a mile away. I am sorry you have a sister like that." Andrew was really pissed now because I was laughing and telling him about what people were saying and that I thought she was a b***h. Well I wasn't going to lie because I am honest and I don't care. Andrew said "thank you but don't talk about my sister that way. That is disrespectful." I stopped laughing.

I instantly replied "first of all, I will tell you the damn truth. I don't give a rat's ass if they hurt your feelings. Two, you don't tell me what I can and can't say you are nothing to me and I don't even care. Your words don't hurt me. Third, I bet you heard way worse in school. So stop being all butt hurt because I told it to your face instead of behind your back. So get over it. And lastly, this is my first day at this school and I already heard that. What makes it any different if it is true? At least she is proud to be the biggest slut here right. She thinks every guy wants her."

Just cut in and said "Andrew, I am not very busy. So you can tell your sister, whatever she has to say she can talk to my father. Sense it is an upper management thing. Oh make sure you or your sister use my title from now on. Not in front of certain people. Do you understand? Oh there will be a meeting with you, me, your family, my father and Jack when I get back to the office." When he said certain people he glanced at me. I didn't like that glance but I know what they are and I am not stupid. But now I think I spilled the beans.

Andrew said "alright, I will just leave you guys to do what you were doing. See you guys later. Oh, Mariah. Yes I know your name. I will be seeing you later for talking s**t about my sister. You are my enemy now."

I had to spill the beans, after he said that I replied "maybe you should talk to Alpha Jeff, and ask him about my very special silver bullets. I am not afraid of you." They both looked at me and their mouths were open. They were in shock. Wow…

Justin said "wait you know about us. What? How? I am confused. Mariah, can we reschedule our date until tomorrow so I can deal with some stuff?"

Andrew got so pissed and started to scream "you're going on a date with her? You should be spending time with me, sister. You promised me." That is when Justin snapped. He finally got mad.

Justin replied in a harsh tone "I am not interested in your sister. I do not nor will I want a chosen mate. If I did, I would never choose your sister ever in my life. I want my fated MATE. Which is Mariah. Do you get it now? Just get into the vehicle now."

I spoke up and said "I am your mate?" Now they were looking at me. It was funny. Justin asked "okay, how did you know about us?"

I answered "I know because I am not stupid. Plus one of your people shifted from wolves to humans outside my house where cameras were, about seven weeks ago. And this wolf was Mr. Andrew himself. He was talking about Justin. And by the way, I have you on video and I still have it, Andrew."

Justin smiled and asked "so you know I am your mate? You are not afraid of me?"

I answered "you saw me shoot Jeff right. I know he is from another pack. So that is a stupid question. Don't fear the unknown. Oh for your question earlier, I have a for you. But I will tell you not now but when I am ready. But I am about to walk home. Bye, see you tomorrow." While I was walking away, Justin yelled "can you come with me to meet my family?"

I answered "probably in the future. But slow down wolfy." With that I started to walk away." It took about an hour to walk home. But I didn't not mind because walking helps me keep my breathing calm. Once I got home. The front door was wide open. I quickly brought out my cell phone to call my mother.

Mother answered, "What's up Mariah?"

I asked " hey are you home yet?"

Mother answered "no, I am still at work for another 10 minutes. Why what is going on?"

I answered "oh because the front door is open. I will use our security system." With that I hung up my phone. I went over the telephone pole, I opened one of the boxes on the pole. I put it in a code. There was an instant alarm. When I was younger I realized I was not normal. I had to do a lot of military training. I had to learn traps, guns, and weapons. Because Kyli, who is my trainer, knows I am not just human. The only three people that know what I am is my trainer because she has to train me. My mother and myself. So when we got away from my father we came here. They started to train me. So my mother was scared when I was younger I wouldn't be strong enough for the people who are after me so she put a really big security system in. Where my front yard is like a war zone. I like that because at least I know I am safe and my mother is safe if she is ever home alone. Back to present, once the alarm was sound, the booby traps were set. I grabbed my shotgun that was in one of the bushes. Once the people in the house heard the alarm. They came out looking frantic. The two people were Jeff and James. That is when I point my gun straight at them. I said "So find what you were looking for?"

Jeff said "why don't you put all these and that gun your holding away and we can talk?"

I said "you just broke into my house," with that I fired my weapon. It hit James in the left shoulder. He fell screaming because of the silver and the wolfsbane. Jeff was looking at his friend and back at me. I said "your friend has 24 hours to live if you don't get him help because I have special bullets. So this is my last warning: stay off my property and away from me. Also give me the bag that you are holding. Because that is my property."

Jeff yelled "no this is my property." He hung it out and then one of my property traps sensed movement. Jeff realized this, he then dropped the bag… I went to the pole and put the code back and said "you will leave now and never come back to my property, my human property." Jeff picked up his friend who was in so much pain and walked back to their car they came in.
