Aimee’s POV “Is mommy okay?” I can hear my son’s voice. My eyelids are still closed and my head feels lighter than earlier. However, I do not think I am conscious enough to open my eyes. My body is comfortable laying in the soft and warm bed which is completely opposite of what I expected. I thought I will be waking up on the cold floor of the living room. The scene before I completely blackout is vague. I am not certain if what happened was only a dream, my unconscious state talking, or maybe it did really happen. “I think so. I often see my mom fainting after having an outburst.” This time, it is a girl’s voice. I can feel them getting closer. They are probably watching me, waiting for me to open my eyes. As much as I want to comfort my son and tell him I’m okay, the warmth of the bed
