Aimee’s POV As we walk down the stairs, I can already hear Amler’s laugh. I glance at Clyver and fortunately, I don’t see any signs of annoyance about the presence of his brother. When we both turn in the dining area, I see Amler getting tickled by Clinton while Cleya is watching them with a smile on her face. I’m glad she’s now interacting with us again. The first days of her recovery, she spoke little to none. The doctor already warned us about that. The kid might still be in shock and we should not force her to interact with us if she’s not comfortable yet. It is better to let her open up on her own. “Mommy!” Amler notices me.
