Aimee’s POV
“What did you do to her? What did you do to your daughter!” I yelled I tried to wake Cleya but I’m too scared to touch her. I’m afraid I’ll make her condition worse. Pearl is standing in front of us. She’s still shocked at what happened. Her eyes are all on her daughter. When she made a step forward, I quickly stand.
“Don’t you dare move, Pearl,” I warns.
She did what I say. We stare at each other. Her face is filled with mixed emotions and dried tears are evident in her cheeks. She lifts her chin and looks down at me.
“T-This i-is your f-fault! T-This is all your f-fault!”
She charges towards me. But before she can reach me, the door burst out open and a guard quickly stops her from attacking me. He was followed by three other guards. One helped the guard to calm Pearl do
