“I’ll pick you up,” he says after our deep talks. It was not even a question.
I only nod at him and did not bother to argue. I was about to open the door but he stop me by holding my wrist. “Wait here,” he say before stepping out. I watch him as he jog towards my door and opened it for me. One of my bros instinctively raises.
When he notices my reaction, he shrugs his shoulder. “Just being someone I failed to be for the last five years.”
I twitch my lips to stop myself from smiling. He opens the door wider to motion me to step out. He leans forward as he shut the door behind me. I smell his luxurious perfume on the side of his neck. I feel my face burning and I’m certain I made myself blush.
I quickly avoid my gaze at him by turning my back. “See you later?” he asks. I did not face
