I thank Dad for listening and also for the drink but before we leave, he started talking about the company… which is not surprising.
“We have a client coming from Japan. They are important, so I’m assigning you to them. I want you to be your full self and make this deal perfect.”
“You know, you can always count on me, Dad. Deliver the needed documents to my office.”
“Sure, by the way… when can I meet my grandsons?”
Dad would call me even during office work to meet with his grandsons but knowing Mom…
“Mom wouldn’t like that idea,” the same answer I will always tell him.
“Your Mom? It’s your sons, Chain. I guess she is now happy with Dane, Delianna’s Father.”
“You got the wrong idea, Dad. Uncle Dane and Mom are just friends. Mom could never love Uncle Dane romantically,
