I pursed my lips when the atmosphere started to gone awkward. Chain suddenly got quiet and I could feel his face started to lose expression. Xyndrix shyly smiled at us while looking down. He already confessed to me a long time ago but he’s still shy.
“My bad. Sorry to bring that up. Well, we’re here not just to visit you guys, but we would like to take Lia outside.”
“The twins would probably find me as soon as they wake up. I can’t leave them.” Knowing that they will immediately cry looking for me.
“Nah, they won’t. Chain’s here for them. You can just put your milk into the baby bottles. Besides, you’re always worried about the twins that you never had a day-off.” Emily insists.
