Adah's POV  The fake sincerity in their voices made my skin crawl. I could see right through their pathetic act - they weren't sorry for what they did to me. They were just scared of their father's punishment. How stupid do they think I am? Before I could say anything else, Alpha Castello stepped forward, his presence commanding attention. His face was grim, but there was something pleading in his eyes that made me pause. "Adah," he said quietly, "I understand you want to leave, and I don't blame you. But please, stay until after the wedding. Just a few more days." I crossed my arms, skeptical. "Why should I?" "Because I owe you an explanation," he said, his voice heavy with regret. "About my sons, about what happened, about everything. I need time to get to the bottom of this."
