Adah's POV
"I don't know what you're talking about," I said, trying to keep my voice steady despite how close he was to me.
Hayden's eyes darkened, and he pressed even closer, his body heat making me feel dizzy. "Don't play dumb with me, Adah. I know you heard everything Jayden and Rayden were discussing. I know you found out about our plans."
I tried to maintain my innocent act, but the way he was looking at me made it clear he wasn't buying it.
"And I also know," he continued, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper, "that you might be behind all of this chaos in the first place."
I couldn't help it - I burst out laughing. The sound echoed in the hallway, and I saw his expression shift to one of confusion and anger.
