I couldn't help but think that Jayden had deliberately bumped into me just to have an excuse to talk. He had that look in his eyes - the same one I'd seen in the cave when he'd kissed me.
"You don't look fine," he said, gently tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Stop that," I said, but I was smiling despite myself. There was something about the way he touched me that made my heart race.
"Stop what?" he asked innocently, his thumb brushing across my lower lip. "I'm just checking if you're hurt anywhere else."
