Adah's POV Hours had passed, and darkness had fallen outside the cave. I was exhausted and cold, but I couldn't bring myself to sleep properly. I kept checking on Jayden's breathing, terrified that he might stop breathing altogether. His wolf form had been completely still for so long that I was starting to think the worst.
