Adah's POV I watched as Angela and Hayden kept exchanging desperate looks across the dinner table. The tension between them was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Angela was clearly hesitant to answer Mom's direct question about being pregnant, probably terrified of what Hayden might do if she confirmed it. But I wasn't going to let this moment slip away. This was exactly the chaos I'd been hoping to create. "Oh my god," I said suddenly, putting my hand to my mouth as if a realization had just hit me. "Angela, you can't possibly be pregnant, can you?" Everyone's eyes turned to me, and I could see the panic in both Angela's and Hayden's faces. "I mean," I continued, looking around the table with wide, innocent eyes, "if you were pregnant, it would have to be Hayden's baby, right?
