From behind the pillar, I watched Angela frantically searching through Jayden's phone for a video that was no longer there. The confusion on her face was absolutely perfect.
She has no idea that I only put that video on Jayden's phone temporarily, just long enough for her to see it. It was never sent to anyone else.
The brothers were staring at her like she'd lost her mind, which honestly, she kind of had.
"I know it was there!" Angela kept insisting, her voice getting higher and more desperate. "I saw it with my own eyes!"
