3:50 am
Jacxon isn't a night person like Asher, he just couldn't sleep.
"Jacx, didn't i tell you not to drink too much coffee!?" Leena argued over the phone, although Jacxon is basically a jock who loves protein shakes and basically live in the gym every weekend, he have one addiction he can never let go of; coffee. "I was writing a report that's due today, i had to drink coffee so i wouldn't doze off" "so you'd rather be a zombie at school? didn't you tell me you'll have a football practice like 7:30 in the morning?" Leena says over the phone... "s**t, i forgot about that, what do i do now?" he replied sarcastically while rolling his eye, "shut up ,go get some sleep jackass you have atleast 3 hours and 30 minutes, i'll pick you up at 7 o'clock, "yes bestieeee" he says in his highest tone possible.
Leena is his friend, they've known each other since they were born because their parents decided to f**k and give birth to them at the very same time. They're basically twins at this point, Leena's mom even planned to name her Jack before she found out that Leena was a girl so she picked Jackilyn instead, only Jacxon calls her Leena, because they both find it weird to call each other 'Jac'.
He's currently 18, for his 18th birthday he decided that it would be a very good idea to skip school for 3 days and sneak around the city while drinking, those days were very traumatizing for his body since his body isn't used to alcohol, Protein shakes are basically the only thing running around his vessels, and coffee ofcoures , there's one more thing he's deeply obsessed of; Ice cream, at this point you'll think 'who isn't', well in Jacxon's case, he have his own mini fridge filled with all sorts of ice creams, you want ice cream?, you know the man.
Jacxon decided to read a book from his bookshelf that has never touched since he moved into the room, a book caught his attention from the middle of the book shelves, "DREAMS" was the title of the book, the cover looked like it was poorly designed because it's just a black cover with the word DREAMS capitlized and colored in white, there isn't even the author's name in the cover like other books do.
"Dreams follows us in our sleep...." he read the first line, and surprisingly enough he fell asleep.
