Follow the Gray Concrete Path
*Arielle* I am startled awake by the gentle beep beep of a horn. I blink my eyes, thankful that the wooden roof of my head protected me from an eyeful of sunlight first thing this morning and that the driver didn’t put all of their weight into the horn. I rub my eyes to clear away the sleep. Before me is a giant blue and white bus with ads about a dentist and the name ‘Tanner Travels’. That’s not like any bus name I have ever heard. Sounds more like a small business name, but Ed did mention that several small towns through New Hampshire and part of Vermont helped pitch in for the bus. I wonder if the bus is an independent contractor, is the driver also? Or did he come with the bus? Do they even have bus drivers that are independent contractors? S
