Jase knew how hard it was for Beth to leave him.
He could feel it in each fiber and every cell in his body since Beth’s every emotion was also his. But he didn’t want Beth to be sad or feel sorry for her decision, because obviously, it was an important step, and Jase knew that if Beth had stayed and hadn’t taken care of her human business, she wouldn’t have felt good in the pack. And that was what Jase wanted to avoid. That was why he was trying to be as understanding as possible.
He slipped a few times, was sad himself or bitchy, or simply asked inappropriate questions, but on the other hand, he promised his support and he meant it. He trusted Beth, trusted that she would come back no matter how long it would take. Jase would be there, waiting for her return.
