Marcus walked back upstairs and into the room, Hecta was standing by the window. “Why couldn’t you have just come to bed?” Marcus said closing the door. “All I’ve heard the last few hours is you talking and going back and forth.” He said walking over to her and putting his arms around her. “We will take the council on, I have to meet with a few of the demons I put my trust in.” he said kissing her neck. “Come and lay with me in bed.” He said pulling her into the bed with him.
“I don’t want to lie down.” Hecta said pulling her arm away. “I want to get things done; I want these demons to stop doubting me.” She said shaking her head.
