"Did you hear the awesome news?" Savanna exclaimed as soon as I plopped down at my desk.
I shook my head, placing my purse down. "What is it?" My thoughts were elsewhere, still tangled up in how I was going to cover Andrea’s chemotherapy costs. Frank’s advance payment to me was already earmarked for Landon.
"We're getting a bonus!" she squealed, clearly thrilled. "I heard it’s because of the project we nailed. I know Sir Andrew is going to be so excited when he gets back!"
