I wasn't sure when the car I was in would come to a halt, but after forty-five minutes of traveling, I noticed that the luxury car we had been following had finally stopped in front of a huge church.
"We have arrived!" the driver announced cheerfully, prompting me to give a small smile as I gradually exited the car, my gaze sweeping over the lovely surroundings. I gasped at the sight of the crystal-clear blue sky, which cast an omber effect of tangerine hues across the horizon.
"Mom, this place is absolutely stunning!" Kendra's voice reached me from a short distance away. I turned to find the path ahead adorned with hundreds of tiny candles and petals of hydrangeas in various shades, including aqua light, lavender, and pink.
