Chapter 048 Nicole Nathan's car was dead quiet, except for the distant hum of traffic filtering through the windows as we drove to an unknown destination. I could feel his eyes on me from the corner of my eyes while I gazed out at the tinted glass, and I was scared to make eye contact with him, and I had no idea why.
