"This place is really pricey, Nathan," Nicole whispered, staring out at the huge, brightly lit restaurant. "We should be saving some cash. I wouldn't mind grabbing a bite at a cozy spot instead."
I let out a sigh and leaned back in my seat. How could I forget that my wife had no clue I wasn’t as broke as she thought? I could give her anything she desired, buy whatever she wanted, because I had plenty of money. But now wasn’t the right moment for her to find out, so I started the car and drove away from my favorite restaurant.
