I made myself read past the first line.
"Evie, three lines was not enough, and you know it.
We protected the pack, and everyone here is safe. Well, almost everyone. We almost had three deaths. But thankfully, the healers were fast and they're alive. How bad it is, we can't say yet. But they're stable, and we can only hope for the best.
Coran's leading the warriors same as he always does when you need him to. Dara hasn't left the healer's wing since that night, I had to send someone in just to make her eat. Both of them ask after you every single day, same as I do.
