Chapter Eight - Flower

Okay another long chapter be ready.

* Isa *

I was just going around the pack land when I see some big group of members and as I am coming nearer something someone says makes me suprised. Why is no one talking like he just insult our Luna. Did they really thought that about her.

" What ? " I asked as the only one which attracted attention of the pack members in the circle they made. Some that turned and saw me, bowed their heads down in matter of respect for me as I am still the only female Beta. As I was walking throught the way they made for me I saw two men in the middle of the circle. One of them screamed absolute manliness and Alpha blood, and the other one was showing just a part of his power. Probably the new Alpha and Beta. Still they have no right to call my best friend and our Luna the way they did for the way Chuck did things.

" How do you dare disrespect me ? " The way I did mister. Of course I will disrespect him if he disrespects my friend. " If I was you Alphie I would think about who you talk to too. " Okay maybe I did go throught the line but as he I am too an Alpha blood and I hate it too when someone disrespects me and my wolf even tho we got used to Beta power and privileges. He was actually fuming with anger. Same as Chuck.

" And who are we actually talking to ? " This time asked the Beta as he did have much better control with his temper. I like that. From nearer spot and better look he looks like an intteligent male that knows what to do in this kind of situations. Really clever Beta, really clever.

" The previous Beta female. " I answered with proudness in my voice and heart. Even tho I am not proud that I was married to Marcus I still feel proud for the way I worked for this pack as a Beta female. Who would not be proud they have such a relevant position in the pack. But as soon as I answered the silence that came as a big wave was cutting throught the wind making everybody aware of the tension in the air. No one likes the bad guys but the same living creatures hate those who just stand near them and can't do anything because they are afraid. As I was.

The both males looked at me with desblief as if I was something disgusting. Well apart from the look the Beta gave me. He was supried yes but I saw something like vengeance swirll in those big amber eyes. But as I know mzself I am bad a t reading people Soaria was mutch better at that. If Soaria was here she would know that and helped me on what to do in this situation.

" So Marcuses female ? " The Alpha asked to somehow ease the tension but he just made it grow ten times bigger. When I took the courage and was about to answer I heard someone growl. Which teriffied me a little as I started looking around for the source of the horiffing sound that so much reminds me of the past. And as I look back I realize that the Beta has his hands in fists clenching them as much as he can, knuckles turning creamy

white eith the power he implies into that one gest, face features turning angry to an angry scowl letting others see his long and sharp fangs. Pretty scary.

" Was. " I said with a feeling of calmess that he and Chuck will no longer bother me and Soaria. It makes me feel at peace knowing that those two got rid of him. Finally no longer my burden. But my feeling of safety and calmness fades when I look at their faces knowing that they are not telling me something. And sudenlly I know what they have on their minds. Oh my god we are all doomed.

" You did kill them, right ? " I again ask but this time with a little bit of concern in the tone I use so they can know that I am really aware of them not killing them. Which isn't sutch a big problem for them as for me and Soaria. We know about most of the things they have done and not them. We will be the first one that they will try to kill if they get out. Maybe they saw my concern and fear in my eyes, so they toldthe memevrs around us to do what they did before.

" No, but we are going there to kill them. " When I heard those words I sudenly got a feeling that I needed to be there, to see the pain in Marcuses and Chucks eyes. To see them whirl in pain I and Soaria did. Sudenly when I looked back where they where I didn't see them there anymore. Where did they go. I started yet again looking around and saw them going streight to the dungeons. I in front of them and made them stop in their track.

" Wait. I want go with you. " They both looked at each other than atme as if I was crazy. " Beta female we can't take you there. You would dislike the things you will see there. " Answred the Alpha with a triumfial look as if he won something. Did he really tought that I was never there or that I can't take the smell of silver and rouges or ferals.

" Firstly my name is Callista but call me Isa. Secondly Do you think I was never there ? If yes then you both are really funny I know those dungeons as the palm of my hand. And lastly I have every right to go with you. As you said I am still a Beta female so I have some rights. So can I go now? "

The Beta looked yet again angry. Way to get friends Isa. But Alpha looked somehow impresed. Why, that is a thing I don't know.

" Well as you wish , Callista. " Pretty polite Alpha. Well I can go, so no problem with me.

We walked to the dungeons. Well I led them to the dungeons. In a matter of a few minutes we were in front of the big front gate to death. I am really stupid that going there and seeing those two fie will make up for the things they have done or it will get me rid of my fear of this hideous place. I take a deep breath, and lightly knock at the gate. In a while the masive eben doors starts to open up to show a long hall with only one light at the end where stands another couple of guards that will let us in.

Okay just breath all you need to do is go there throught that hall and after all you will have two men with you that will protect you. I take one step, then another, and another. Fine it is mutch easier than I though.

We take a good amount of turns. It was build like this for a safety reason. If somebody was intelligent enough to escape his cell he would have a decision between two doors front and rear. But if he choose the front it would led him to the biggest maze. And if he choose the rear doors he would get the same sight as from the front door. You need to know those tunels, so you don't get lost, and by the amount of times I went there to get Soaria out is more then enough for me to know it here as the back of my palm.

We take the last turn and stop right before the ending doors. This time they are made from spruce wood. Spruce wood is dark and it is the only word that describes what is hiding behind them. I take some deep breaths that leave me feeling somehow secure and not scared then I grab the handle and turn it down.

From that moment I don't remember anything and am seeing that both Marcus and Chuck are chained to the wall. Blood trickeling down their heads on hands big bruises forming on their hands from the chains they were held by as they were soaked in wolfsban. And suddenly Marcus smiles at me.

" Do you like what you see puppet ? " He said, and my stomach made twenty turns in the way he used venom on his pet name for me. I always hated it, and he knew it, but I needed to live with it. "Oh, I do and I can't wait till I see how you will screamin agony of a searing pain burning down your whole body. How you will plead for them to stop and they won't do so. That will make me happy. " I answered with disgust. But as soon as I answered he protested snd told. " Such a bad words for a puppet like you. I see I made some intriguing impact on you. I like that puppet. But telling me you will live from my death is a monster like, and we both know you are not a monster are you ? "

" I am not you. " Was my last answer before the Alfa finally entered the cell and started beating them. The next hour I only heard their agonying screams but no pleading. I knew they had too big egos to just beg for something once in their lives. Then they gave me one last look on which I answered. "You are dead to me. " I smiled and walked out of the room in front of the doors.

* one hour later *

They finally came out and now we can go back. The way back on the brighter side always made me feel somehow excited. Well who wouldn't be excited to go out of a hell hole. We were walking by the walls burried more in moss than stone. From the start I thought it was disgusting but then Soaria again made me understand yet another thing. Now it is the beautifulest thing I ever saw with a million other things. She taught me that it is beautiful the way it is. How the green little coat it wears is such rare colour. How it's colour allways stays the same. It is something completely else from trees it does not know about the weather seasons, and that is good because it is completely different from others plants and greens. How when you touch it even tho it is wet from the dampness that is down in those tunels it makes you shiver. But when you shiver don't think about anything disgusting because it is just reflex we do a lot of times , just close your eyes and touch it. Feel the green softness of a cloud.

But now that we are out of the dungeons I look around and see the disaster. I never noticed the decoations on every event. And right now knowing there is no Soaria that would organize those things perfectly to the dot I am the only one that needs to do it. I start running around like a chicken and start looking for any decorations any mistake in the decorations, colour, food, so I look after everything.

" What are you doing ? " Uh really right now. Does he need to annoy me right now when I have such a hard mission to do rightly. " I am trying to get the decorations, food, colours, lights and every other thing in their place, position and mostly contrast. Is it so hard to see that !? "

" Okay..., but you already did it so how hard can it be ? " Uh what does he have with those questuions. "Of course it is hard I never did that. The Luna always did that! It was her thing that she loved to do. " He looked at me as if I gained two more heads which is kinda not possible as he is higher from me like for seven inches.

" Now please leaveme alone. " I was about to go to another decorations near the food when I bumped into someone. I looked up and saw the Alpha. Ilooked at him with my asking look and waited a liitle while until I started clatter with my foot as I am very restless person. " Where is that Luna of yours then if she should take care of this pack ? "

" That Luna of mine is laying in the f*****g hospital in coma with pains because you choosed to attack us, and her being her she was blind enough to let youdistrat her from the world around her and every danger that could harm her. That is where she is. "

He looked shocked. Well I shouldn't even care I have work to do that won't do itself.

* five fours later *

It's fine Callista you just take those flowers to her and talk with her it is not that hard. I walk down the endles halways until I see two familiar faces in front of her window. I walk up to them and look inside. She is as always so peaceful. I told you you will make everyone fall for you without talking.

" What are you doing here ? " I asked them curiously. " So this was the Luna ? " Maybe they aren't as bad as I thought. I look throught the window on her and see her still in the same position. " Yes. But she was always more than that. " The Alpha looked at me with cofushion in his eyes. " What do you mean ? " He asked.

" She never cared for her titul. She was the only angel this pack had. And now we lost her. But she is doing what she deserves. She rests, and that is what she needs most. "

I walked with the bouquet of dandelions into the room and went streight for the vase to fill it with some water so the dandelions could live with her. I will fill up her room with all the kinds of flowers I can find because that will make her happy and she will live like the flowers. I hear some banging so I turn around and see the Alpha yelling something on the nurse and pointing at me. I walk out and look at them both.

" What is happening here ? " I ask them because as I know nurses depend on peaceful silence so the patients can rest properly. " Why can't I go in there when she can ! " I look at him with a smile. " Because you are not her family. " I answer and walk back in with the nurse because she needs to inject Soaria with some substance that will make her change back into her human form. In the morning she is injected to turn into her wolf form for her to fasten up the process of healing, and at night they turn her back so she can rest properly after a long day. I walk up to the big window and cover up his vision with the curtains.

* thirty minute later *

Soaria already turned back and I designed her dandelion bouquet and made her a dandelion crown. After all she deserves a crown for the things she's done and came trought. I look back at the covered window and still see the outline of his body. He just stands there looking at nothing more than a curtain. Maybe I did tormented him enough. Sudenly there is one more shadow. I hear them talking about leaving and going to see her tomorow. Maybe if the nurses won't know I can get them here.

I see them slowly walk away , and then I just think about how they must feel or just the Alpha so I run out of the room. " Hey. " I sigh as they turn around showing me the look on the Alphas face. He has bags under eyes, messy hair and tired look. Did he really waited here all this time to see her ? " I give you five minutes. Come on. " I see as his face lights up with something similliar to happines. So I smile at him. And he actually runs to the doors. I show him to be slow and quiet and when he understands what I mean he nods and walks in with his Beta. After that I swiftly close the doors.

I walk back to my place next to her bed where I am doing the last details on her bouquet and turn to face them seeing every move he does make. He slowly walks to her sits next to her and with his knuckles come near her cheek and then stops. He looks at me as if seeking permision. I nod and go back to my work.

" My beautiful flower. Wake up for me. Please. I am suffering without you. You are the only flower that the roots of this world didn't touch. So special yet so dangerous. You make me want to plead for your touch and that my little flower is something no one ever achieved. " He talked to her as to a little pup. It was cute. It did surprise me but when I started thinking I knew what happened and I knew they need each other. She is his flame in darkness and he is her castle that stands when the rain and wind comes, so no one can extinguish her flame.
