I felt excitement in my heart the moment River told me to distract Genevieve for him. My heart rate increased more as the thought of talking to her after days sank into my mind.
Before I made my way to Genevieve I decided to check on Charlie first because he was the other person I knew was capable of disrupting whatever plans River had.
I found Charlie sleeping in his grandfather's lap and I walked to him just to know what his grandfather’s plans were.
