Lyra’s POV ‘Mum, I need to talk to you about something,’ I said to my mum while I stood at the kitchen door. She was busy cutting carrots. ‘What is it Lyra?’ Mum asked dropping what she was doing to face me. I walked in properly into the kitchen. What I wanted to discuss with her was something that I actually thought was a sensitive topic.
