Amiyrah's pov: It was a beautiful morning, the mall was full of people and bustling with activities. I have been to malls for like almost every time, but this time, it felt different. The vibes were different, so were my feelings. Repeated memories of last night kept running on my head, that can't seem to get  off. Only if I were a genie, i would grant myself a few wishes. First would be to make Ayaan disappear. Second for my father to forgive me and third that I'm free to do anything that I wish to. "What are you thinking?" A sudden touch on my shoulder got me out of my thinking zone, as mom rises her eyebrows, awaiting a response. "Urm well nothing. Just that how busy the mall is. Basically. "answering her curtly as I shake my head to clear my thoughts and proceeded towards the second floor via an escalator, after scanning the crowd briefly. Over the second floor, it was relatively less crowded as on the ground floor. There were a few couples who strolled hands in hands lovingly, looking around casually. Additionally there were few food courts on the top section ranging from variety of different cuisines. From local to Chinese and Korean. The appealing smell of the food wafted out of the restaurants into my nose. I couldn't help but convince mom to get into one of the fine dine restaurant and satisfy my hunger. As we walked in, the décor was charming and rustic with elegant modern touch. Relax by the cozy log burner with beautiful daisy's on the table. A daily menu, all freshly prepared in the kitchen that included fresh fish, pies, steak and signature dish prepared by the head chef. After scanning the menu, we decided to order grilled steak, garlic bread and some fries to match along with. For the drinks, we both ordered tree tomato juice. Having filled our belly with the juicy steak and rest of the meal, we continued exploring furthermore. There was a great clothing sale department store that led me to the second floor. It was humongous and the sale clearly explained why teen-agers were Selecting their necessities. Meanwhile middle aged men were trying on business apparel as they could gain 50% off on all products that were bought on that day. However an adorable fluffy Sherpa coat, Caught my eye in an instant. An urge to purchase, though the long queue dissuaded me from buying it. We walked into many other stores that had offers on and purchased little less than usual. We walked out of the mall and got into the car. Chauffeur opened the doors for us as we got in. "Hope you enjoyed?" Mom smiling widely as she lowers the window, letting the cold breeze caress the skin causing goosebumps. In many years, this was the first time I felt peaceful and happy, though decisions that were being taken were against my will. Upon reaching home, daddy was in the waiting area, comfortably seated sipping his cup of coffee. I pulled off my coat and placed it on the hanger as I stare at him in surprise. "What could have made daddy so calm and relaxed?" Questioning myself with a raised eyebrow and a straight face, as I walk past him, a hand held my wrist tight, stopping me from moving any further. I look towards daddy's direction with a blank face, showing no emotions. "Can we talk please?" He asks gently making me sit besides him. "Sure thing." I respond making myself comfortable and confident. " I have had a word with Ayyan, and he has agreed to marry you." Announces with a huge smile on his face. Mom exclaimed with excitement. meanwhile, there I stood with mixed emotions, not knowing on how to react to the matter or to respond. Placing a sarcastic smile on my face as i walk away to my room, slamming the door behind me. I drop my body on the bed, putting a pillow over my face and crying silently.
