Chapter 12 Mark It was hard to fall asleep after that revelation. With such close proximity to Robin, I couldn’t get her off my mind. Even though I'd been following her for weeks, something about the fact only one wall stood between us now made for a restless night. By the time the early light of dawn peeked through the curtain, I wasn’t sure I’d managed to get any sleep at all. Rolling over, I turned the alarm off before it could ring, and headed to the kitchenette to brew coffee. Once that goal was achieved, I opened the curtains to look out over the city.
