Dinner was tense. Luna Gail insisted I sat next to Rowan, which effectively booted Logan out of her seat. Once she realized I was planning on her daughter taking over for Alpha and was still going to be her mate, the Luna’s attitude toward me was a complete one-eighty from her stance in the living room. It was like I could do no wrong.
I was not exactly complaining, but the fact that she wouldn’t leave well enough alone about it didn’t give Alpha Roman OR my uncles time to process the decision. At least we had the Luna’s support.
