[Logan’s POV]
Walking back inside felt a little suffocating. Fear and anxiety was thick in the air. I knew Rowan was just as confident in my abilities as I was. The only thing I was truly anxious about was how I would be perceived once they knew what I was capable of.
One look around and I could tell that my father went overboard with the set up for the first round. Theo leaned in and whispered.
“Your dad sure thinks highly of himself, doesn’t he?” I failed to suppress a laugh. My lighthearted demeanor didn’t go unnoticed by the others. The laugh alone caused my father to flinch. It wasn’t my intention to get under his skin, but it was amusing none-the-less.
