While Ro and Theo worked on preparing lunch for us, I went around the house one more time to see if anything was out of place. Kate said that my father was on house arrest, but even he wasn’t here. Nothing was out of the ordinary that I could tell. I even scoured underneath surfaces and in the vents again for recording devices or more toxin bombs.
“Everything seems to be in order…” I muttered to the others when I returned to the kitchen.
