Theo and I just finished cleaning the living room when Rowan barreled her way into the space, grabbed our hands, and dragged us up the stairs. She didn’t say a word to either of us until we were securely locked away in my bedroom. I was grateful to see that my stepmom, Kate, had already been through and cleaned all the exposed surfaces.
