We moved quickly through the house, transporting the boxes we wanted to keep safe from the attic to my room. Something in me said to be cautious and that we would need to move them again soon. I didn't think it had to do with Kate like Theo did, but I still felt the need to make sure to keep the important things separate from the others.
"Okay. I think that's the last of it." I exited the attic carrying the last box of photo albums. Everything else was already in my room. We worked as a team to move the items as quickly as possible. We also made sure to double check the items we were leaving in the attic. If something as significant as money was hidden in a stack of paperwork, then we needed to make sure we left no stone unturned.
