4.The night at the pub

The pub was getting more and more crowded. Most of the people came here were couples. Maddy and Jayden were dancing on the floor. I stayed with the group.
"Is there only couples are allowed ??" I asked Hannah.
"yep,but not for us...this pub belong to our friend...my handsome man...Drake Devian so there is always an exception for us..." She blushed while saying.
" oh that is what I thought..." I said to her.
Then we were interrupted by a voice,
"Oh really, when I told you I was yours .." it was Drake...and by the power of the voice I know he is standing right behind my sofa. I did not turned to see him...
"Hey who is this new girl..." He asked.
"She is off limits bruhh... Maddison declared that...she is her bestfriend Ria..."
"oh really...then as she is coming here for the first time, I must offer some welcome drink for her in person.So Ria, I am Drake... just follow me please..." He offered me. I saw Hannah glaring at me.
First I wanted to reject his offer, but I wanted to know why he pretended that he don't know me.
So I followed him and stood near the bar. Then he directly looked into my eyes and saud sorry...what..!!
"Sorry Ria, I just wanted them to know I acted nice and good with you..I mean I have an image to maintain..."
"Oh the badboy image...right ... But why, you were a cool guy there."
His attitude changed,and his maintained an emotionless face.
"Because I don't want to be a nice guy... I don't date or be nice with any girl except my few friends, I only...F them..."
I dont know what to reply to him that I felt bit uneasy that he openly said these things to me that is also in a sharp tone. I felt bit offended ,so I nodded and just left from there.
Alk the ither friends were all having drinks,but i stood sober as this is my first time here ...also someone have to drive back right...And i dont have experience with alcohol,i mean i had christmas wines. Also had beers,but nothing strong...I was lost in thoughts,Then I saw Maddy gesturing me to join the dance floor. I was shy at first then she came and dragged me there... God only knows how I controlled myself from dancing all these time. We both started dancing together...I am mad about dancing...once I hit the dance floor then there is no turning back... Then i noticed Jayden coming and i excused my bestie to dance with him...there i was left alone...I did not care about who were watching me...I was just enjoying the music with the movement if my body... Then I felt somebody from behind. He held me by the waist,even when I tried to push him away he did not even budge...the light was dim and I could not find Maddy as the panic rise in my mind and body... Then I felt a tight grip on my hand and I was dragged behind a big figure...I did not saw his face,but I felt familiar.
"Stay away from her...can't you see she dud not like it..." He roared at the stranger. He sound familiar then I looked up at him...It was Drake to my surprise.
"oh really who are you to tell that..."
"Nobody... This is my place So back off..." He pushed him and then glared at my direction. I lowered my head in tension like a kid.
"oh then I will wait outside for her..." Then that stranger went away with his friends and I was scared to hell by then.
Without any word Drake moved out of the crowd from the dance floor and I followed. Once I was out if the crowd I found Maddy and I ran to her.
"Can we go it is almost eleven now... And i'm not feeling comfortable... Maddy..."
"oh my poor Ria... The mood has just started brightening...don't worry if you're not comfortable I can arrange somebody to drop you... Or if you're okay with it you can take Jayden's car, we will come later..."
"No Maddy,I can't go alone.."
Then she looked at her friends most of them were too much drunk,only one left Drake. I saw her going to him and she was pointing at me... Oh not him... He is in an enraged mood... I felt trapped. Maddy told me Drake will drop me. And gestured me to follow him. once I was in crowd,it was hard to move again. He saw this and slowed his pace. As we reached the entrance I stood right there and he turned to look at me.
"What if they are still out there..." I asked him in panic.
"Don't worry , if he is there there are people to take care of ..." He pointed at the men standing outside in black clothes. So I followed Drake and get into the car.The journey was awkward because of his rude conversation.
Once I was home , I thanked him for the drive and saving me earlier. I thought he will drive away that second.But he waited for me to enter inside room then only he left... May be some thing good is still there on him...
