2. First day in California

So today I am going to California. I was so excited that I could not sleep well last night. Not just excited, but a little sad too... This is the first time me and mom are going to live separately. Even how much strict she is, I know she loves me soo much. She was selfless for me.She only got few friends here. In this seperation, I hope she finds a partner for her . She was never alone because I was there, and that was the lame excuse she gives all the time. But now when I am gone, she may change her mind.I wanted to see her happy too... She loves my dad soo much...but she deserves love and support from a partner... She is still young for that...
When it comes to love, no age is old age...
I packed my stuff yesterday itself...Hm... I will miss my mom terribly...She tried to change my decision so many times . But she know i am just adamant like her... And agreed upon one condition to visit her once in a month...that i can definitely do... even i think, i will be visiting her whenever it is possible.
"Ria... Have breakfast ..." Mom ordered. She is a great cook that's why i often gets chubby even i exercise.... Just cute chubbiness not obese...
"Let's eat together mom...you're coming to drop me right..."
"Yepp... Are you sure you don't want me to drop you California. I mean this is your first time going such a long distance."
"Don't worry mom...i am a big girl now... i can manage it..."
"Hm...alright...but keep your promises... Don't go night out with boys...and must get back before 11.Also don't get yourself involved in any media stunt...dress neatly... Keep a low profile..Unwanted attention can get you into trouble...and..."
I cut her in the middle.
"I know mom... i will take care of it... it's time let's go..."
She is the best when it comes with advices.She is like a radio that time,that will play continuously without listening to us...
I wore a white sweat t shirt with blue jeans,and kept my hair in pony tail also wore my reading glasses... Like a nerd student...hm...mom wants me to go in low profile...but she bought me a business class ticket though... She never hesitate spend money for me,but gives me limited pocket money...That's what my mom is...She trusts herself on me,but not me...haha... Just kidding...
Mom dropped me to the airport. This is the first time we are going to live separately. So I hugged her tightly and she kissed me on my fore head. We bid farewell. It was of long thirteen hours flight and for that I kept my favourite book to read also set some music to not to get bored. When i was checked in i was excited for the journey. I checked seat number and found mine near to a handsome guy. I mean not just handsome,but hot too...He was in a black suit kind of dress... Trimmed beard and well built body... his eyes were piercing...emerald green eyes...wow... I reverted my eyes from him as soon as i saw him looking at my direction. I settled into my seat, but struggled to put the seat belt.Then the passenger near by turned into me and gestured me how to do it.And it worked I smiled at him in embarrassment.
"Hii I am Ria, sorry this is my first time flying...so I did not know how to...you know..."
He looked at me in disbelief.
"Really... You never had a flight journey in your life. ..!!"
"Nope...but I am going to get used to it... I mean I am going to study in California and I plan to visit hometown often..."
"Oh really...By the way I am Drake Devian... I am also a student...Which college do you study..."
"Stanford... My bestie is also there. So we planned to do it together..."
"So don't you have any relatives there..."
"Nope,I mean her family is so close to mine.So they are like relatives...Ok Drake where do you study..."
"Guess we are going to see often...I am also into stanford."
That was a real surprise.then we talked a bit about favourite subject like silly things. He was on his way back after visiting his grandmother in hometown. We exchanged numbers as i thought,it was my first time meeting a guy from California and he seems nice.After that I read my favourite book. It was hard for me to concentrate when I am sitting near a hot handsome guy,in his twenties.
When i reached California it was almost noon. I said good bye to Drake and went to check on Maddy. As discussed she was waiting for me ,that too with a pluck card with some funny quotes and a bouquet of roses...I ran to her and hugged her tight... She looks more beautiful now...
"Ria.... i missed you soo muchh...common let's head to the vehicle. "
And there was a handsome guy waiting for us.
"It's a surprise for you. This is Jayden , and we are dating...Jayden, meet my bestie Ria..."
Wow... that was a real surprise...because i never thought she could hide anything from me...
"Maddy i thought we were best friends ..." i faked a hurt... And she laughed at me.
"You need to improve your acting skills Ria...common let's go now..."
On the way i called mom and told her that i reached safely,then only she was relaxed..within thirty minutes we reached her home. Aunt Anne was waiting at the entrance. Jayden did not come inside. Aunt welcomed me with a warm hug .
"How are you my child ??...you look so grown up..."
I blushed to her comments. i know i got the physical features more than to my age...Yes i got super sexy curves that i often hides it under baggy clothes...
"Mom..stop it... give her something to drink first..."
The aunt gave me juice. Then Maddy showed me the room upstairs. There were three rooms upstairs..Uncle Zachariah was out if station because of his business needs. I got a room near to the balcony,there was another room which was locked. And Maddy's room is near the stairs. When Maddy noticed me curiously looking at the room she said,
"Hm...that room belongs to the great first crush of yours...Mr Ivan Lopez..."
"Stop it Maddy... it was a childhood stupid thing... don't blur out it in front of others please..."
"That is considerable... As i told you earlier my nerdy bro is in another state ,torturing his fellow college students... thank god he is not here... otherwise he will eat my head by saying always to study..."
I laughed at her... Ivan and Maddy are just the opposite in these cases... Thank God he is not here to give e distraction. It is been years seeing him last time.
After freshen up we spend the night by sharing stories ,watching movies... i felt so happy with new life on it's first day...
