Chapter 2: The President of Imperial Group

"Daddy!"

Naputol ang pag-uusap namin ni Freya ng biglang sumigaw si Luca. Daddy? Sinong Daddy? Wala akong naaalalang may tinatawag na Daddy si Luca. This is the first time he called someone Daddy. Our gaze fell on him. He's pointing at something or.... someone.

Sinundan ko ng tingin ang tinuro niya. He's pointing at the group of five men in their black suit, particularly at the man in the middle. Apat sa kanila ay pinalilibutan ang lalaking nasa gitna. He has this kind of aura that will make you bow down your head. He's type of a man that you never wanted to mess up with.

I withdraw my gaze and shifted it to my son. I squat down para mag pantay ang height namin. Hinawakan ko ang mukha niya at iniharap ito sa akin. He's eyes is full of excitement.

"Nak, he's not Daddy. Daddy is not here."

I explained to him.

Ang mga mata niyang puno ng excitement ay napalitan ng lungkot at pagtataka.

"He's Daddy, I saw him. Let's go see him, mommy."

Speechless. I'm speechless. I don't know how to explain it to him. He's expecting for his father. Dati tinatanong niya ako tungkol sa ama niya, pero hindi naman siya namimilit na iharap ko ito sa kanya. Hindi ko rin naman pwedeng sabihin na hindi ko naman talaga kilala ang ama niya, na isang gabi ko lang ito nakasama at yun ay ang gabing binuo namin siya. But now, siya na mismo ang nag-iinsist ng taong hindi naman namin kilala.

Yes, lumaki ang anak ko na walang kinikilalang ama. Kahit ako mismo hindi na naisip pa na hanapan siya ng ama na kikilalanin niya. Ibinuhos ko lahat ng atensyon ko sa trabaho at anak ko. Hindi na pumasok sa isip ko ang maghanap ng lalaking makakatuwang ko, para sa akin sapat na si Luca.

"Baby Luca, ang Daddy mo kasi, nag wo-work sa Neverland, kaya hindi mo pa siya makikita."

Buti na lang talaga nandito si Freya, magaling magpalusot yan kaya laging nakakatakas sa mga kagagahan niya.

" San po yung Neverland ninang?"

Mukhang nauuto na nga talaga ni Freya si Luca.

"It's a very far far away land. Kaya matatagalan pa bago makauwi ang Daddy mo. Pero habang wala pa si Daddy, si ninang muna ang playmate mo. OK?"

Freya explained. I'm sorry anak, dahil ako mismo na Ina mo walang kaalam alam sa pagkatao ng ama mo.

"OK po"

My son said, but loneliness is visible in his voice.

"Let's go? Nagpaluto si ninang ng favorite ni baby Luca."

Luke Alexander Imperial walk out of the airport, surrounded with his three bodyguards and his secretary. He walks with his dignified look, showing his superiority. Many turned their heads to look at his undeniably handsome face, but immediately look away after seeing his cold expression. He walks as if he owns the place.

Anyway, he actually owns the airport called, Imperial Air.

He immediately walk inside his limousine after walking out of the airport. His limousine has been waiting for his arrival. Then the limousine send him directly to the Imperial Group main building.

He traveled for 7 hours from a foreign country but, here he is, the President of Imperial Group doesn't even think of taking a rest. Coming from airport, he went directly to his office to continue his works again.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Imperial"

"Good afternoon, President Imperial"

"Good afternoon sir."

Luke was greeted by his employees, especially women, but neither of them received a response, nor a mere glance. He just walk pass through them.

He entered his private lift still with his bodyguards and secretary, then climbed up to the top floor of the building. His office is located at the very top of the building.

The current President of Imperial Group is known to be a genius of business and a ruthless businessman. He has a cold personality and is a clean freak. The Imperial Group main building is scheduled for disinfection once a week, and his office is disinfected for at least thee time a week.

His employees never received a gaze from him, a gaze from him wasn't a good thing at all.
