Sebastian's POV
"Good day, do you mind if I join your table?" Julie? I looked up at her with my eyeballs threatening to fall off.
"Well..."I know Margaret in her innocence is about to agree to that, so I immediately held the chair.
"No, you can't." I blurted out and Margaret stared at me in awe but didn't say a thing.
"Ohh, there's actually no other empty seat left here, it's okay,I will probably check another restaurant." She tried to gain pity from Margaret of course that can never work with me and she knows that so well.
"Babe, please." My wife pleaded and I shook my head, standing on my words, this lady is just a green snake in a green grass, she's no good at all.
"Thank you so much." Julie said as she pulled the seat out and sat on it without getting any approval whatsoever. I've lost my appetite completely,I can't stand her sitting next to my wife, it's so poisonous.
I signalled the waiter to clear my tray, Margaret continued eating her food slowly without saying a word, "Please get me a tray of what she's having." She said to the waiter that came to clear my dishes and honestly I feel irritated by her presence already.
"You like it too?" Margaret asked and I rolled my eyes in disbelief,I can't believe her tactics are working perfectly well on Margaret, she should be wiser than this, or so I thought.
"Yeah, in fact it's my favourite, it seems we might have a lot in common too." She let out with a small laugh and Margaret smiled.
"So do you stay around or on a visit." She asked, I couldn't take it any longer.
"I don't see how that is your business." I replied instantly and she turned swiftly at me with a smirk and a raised eyebrow.
"Your son here seems to have a problem with me." Yeah of course that's Julie I know she can never miss a chance.
"Son?" Margaret asked her with confusion clearly visible on her face.
"Yeah or isn't he your son?" She asked while staring at the both of us as though she's totally clueless of her acts.
"He's my husband and why would you even think he's my son." Margaret asked, obviously pissed, I pushed my seat backwards and signalled the waiter,I need to get out of here.
"I'm so sorry ma, you look so much older then he is, perhaps it's just your body type, but I apologise." She said with a snicker laughter as she took a spoonful of her food.
"Resorts have always been my favourite place, you know, though I prefer coming here with my car rather than travelling on any form of water transport." She then burst out into a clearly fake laugh and Margaret joined.
"Here I am, thinking I am the only full grown lady afraid of traveling on water." She added and the both of them continued their stupid chat, the waiter swiped my credit card and I stood up immediately.
"I will be waiting in the car." I said to her and she nodded almost immediately.
I wonder how Julie found out personal things such as this? Is she investigating her, probably she is. Oh God I'm so tired of this crazy lady,
After almost thirty minutes or more, Margaret and Julie walked out of the restaurant talking and giggling as though they've known each other for a long time. This is one red flag Margaret has decided to embrace. She gets along and trusts people so easily.
"Babe, meet my friend Julie, Julie meet my husband Sebastian." My innocent wife introduced us with a smile and we shook hands.
"Nice to meet you Mr Sebastian." She said while looking directly into my eyes more like a silent warning.
I yanked her hand off mine without saying any of those flattery fake words. "Babe, let's go." I said to Margaret as I held her hand and then opened the passenger's door for her to walk in.
"Ehhh, please can you drop Julie off as well, we happen to stay in the same hotel, isn't that a sign?" She voiced out in excitement, then turned and hugged Julie, I rolled my eyes and walked into the passenger seat beside the driver's seat. Then the two enemies in disguise walked into the car and the driver drove off.I need to add extra cash to his salary for making the radio a bit loud,I really needed it.
Finally I and Margaret walked into our suite and I locked the door in anger.
"Babe, what's the matter?" She asked as I began to take off my clothes.
"Are you seriously asking me this?", she nodded with a straight face.
"It's so annoying that this isn't the first time, not the second or even the fourth time we're having an argument because of this overly welcoming and friendly attitude of yours, even if it cost you inconveniencing the people you love."I voiced out but she still seemed not to get the whole thing.
I sighed and walked into the bathroom and took off my pants and the rest of them, turned on the shower, I need to calm my nerves, why is Julie trying to make life so hard for me right now, I know the reasons I hid my life from Margaret, in fact she barely knows ten percent of my life and that's better, for her own peace. I don't even plan on telling her a thing anytime soon, Julie wants to ruin that plan entirely for me.
After taking my bath,I turned off the shower and noticed Margret using the bathtub.I didn't even take a glimpse, I'm totally not in for that. I walked out of the bathroom, put on sweatpants and baggy loose pants, then stepped out to get chilled water from the refrigerator.
I took a bottle of water and walked to the glass frame, the view here is so beautiful, it eases nerves, a smile curled to my lips as I looked out, I heard a knock from the door and I furrowed my eyebrows, my heart beating as I slightly opened the door.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked and she let her bathrobe open, her naked body to my view.
"I'm sure you miss this?"
