Axel

Axel It was my eighteenth this week and like every year, I am having a party. I don't know why because I have found my mate. You see I am Axel Noah De-king my mother is the vampire queen and my father the Lycan king. I am the hybrid royalty and also the first of my kind. I was born a white wolf meaning I had the abilities that came with it. The ability to communicate with other animals, using my mind to convey messages. I could also heal quickly from any injury, making me almost invincible in battle. But my wolf's most remarkable power was his ability to control the elements. I was also gifted with the ability of a red wolf because of my father being one or that what everyone thinks we don't actually know why. As I grew up I learnt what it was to be a leader like my parents. I was the one who made the decisions, organized our outings, and kept everyone in line. "Alpha the party has started you should come down" I heard a voice, it was Kai one of my best friends. He was always the life of the party and I couldn't help but smile back. It always annoyed me being called alpha by my friends. But I knew that they did it to get a rise out of me more than anything. I don't cringe or roll my eyes anymore and I only tell them to stop every once in a while because I was their alpha. So I learnt to take it as a compliment and a reminder that my friends value and respect me. " Kai haven't I told you not to call me Alpha unless we are in the company of other Alphas", as I look up at him. I stood knowing that he wouldn't like me staying up here and if I tried to argue, he would grab me by the ear and pull me down the stairs, himself. "Hay Axel I also heard from a little bird, that Zola would be here tonight", Kai said as he laughed. I grab the closes thing to me, throw it at him but he was already out the door so it only hit the door. Great now he got me to think of her. Zola is my mate, she is beautiful and smart but she is also human for how long I don't know, the prophecy didn't say when she found the book and becomes a witch. To also hit it off she hates me. Only because this indicated that happened. We used to be best friends but when I found out she was my mate let's just say I did some things. I'm not proud of it but I will live with it. You see one day I told her that she couldn't date a guy that she liked and with how stubborn she is she still decided to do so. Which ended up with my sending the poor guy to the emergency department. She was so annoying when the guy said that he didn't want to be with her because of me and that was the end of our friendship. I thought she was a bit dramatic about the event but hay that Zola for you. But I also blamed myself, I was usually so good at controlling Alex. As I open the door to my office, I am immediately greeted with the booming sound of music. The bass thumps through the walls, shaking the floor beneath my feet. I take a moment to close my eyes and take in the noise, feeling the rhythm pulsing through my body. I can't help but smile, knowing that I am lucky enough that the house is soundproof. As I listened, I started to smell the beautiful scent of strawberries, carmel and freshwater. I guess Kai wasn't lying when he said she would be here. Moving toward where the smell was coming from I saw her. There she was on the dancefloor. But I was too distracted when looking at her so that I didn't realise who she was dancing with. Liam the school player and wannabe bad boy. He always wants to be in my group trying to keep up with us but he can't because he is human. One second they were dancing and the next he tried to kiss her. "Liam gets off me, now," she said as she tried to push him. "No, I think I am loving it right here" as he pushed Zola up against a wall. I could also smell the faint scent of Zola's fear and Liam's overpowering cologne. My vision tunneled and I could only see shades of black and red. Every sound and movement was amplified, the world was sharper and clearer. The room around me seemed to fade away as I focused on the source of my anger, Liam pushing Zola against the wall. As my mind went blank, I could see only darkness, my vision clouded by my wolf instincts taking control. The world around me faded away and all I could see was my target: Liam. My body was moving on its own, my eyes fixed on him as I let out a fierce growl. Everything around him seemed to dim and fade away, leaving only a tunnel vision on the scene in front of him. His eyes were fixated on Zola, her body pinned against the wall by him. He was looming over her with a confident smirk that I wanted to get rid of. My mouth filled with a metallic tang, my wolf's primal desire for blood and dominance as he pushed forward. My body tensed and I could feel my claws and fangs elongate. My muscles are coiled, ready to attack. The cold, hard surface of the concrete floor beneath my feet grounded me in the moment. A surge of energy ran through my body, my muscles tightening and coiling, ready for action. Alex's fur bristled as my senses heightened, every inch of my skin tingling with anticipation. I could feel the muscles in my body tensing, my fists clenching involuntarily. I could feel Alex wanted to further the length of our claws. There was a itch to come out, to protect our mate. Then there was another voice I had never heard 'blood bring me his blood'. Then I realised my desire for blood wasn't my wolf it was my vampire wanting to feed. But it was to late stop I through Liam across the room.
